Since its launch in December of 2010, the Nissan Leaf has been sold to over 4,000 people in the United States. In our humble opinion, that's a remarkable achievement considering Nissan's electric hatchback is, as of right now, only available in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Tennessee, Texas, Oregon and Washington. Additionally, Nissan says that to date, more than 350,000 potential buyers have "expressed interest" in the Leaf by registering for updates at NissanUSA.com.
As part of Nissan's push to put consumers behind the wheel of the Leaf, the automaker kicked off the second phase of its "Drive Electric Tour" in Long Island, NY on July 8th. Click here to check out the Drive Nissan Leaf website where you'll find a list of tour locations, dates and a place to schedule your time in the driver's seat of a Leaf.
