Connecticut gets new solar EV charging station

Westport, Conn. has a new solar-powered EV charging station.
Elektron Solar, of Westport, and New Fairfield-based Sun Electric have installed two electric vehicle charging stations at a Post Road East commercial building that draw energy from 109 solar panels on the roof. The 26 kW installation was part of a renovation of the 22,560-square-foot building owned by Frisa I?LLC.
